The YELLOW MOUNTAIN CROSS COUNTRY is a TWO day event consisting of approximately 240kms each day. It is run the first weekend of August each year. In 2025 it will be held on the 2nd and 3rd August.
Racing between the townships of Condobolin and Tottenham in western NSW, it is run as a Club Event between the two MNSW Motorcycle clubs of Condobolin and Tottenham.
The track is marked by arrows and the terrain consists of open red soil plains to snotty mallee trails to rocky hills. Two fuel stops are allocated. Your fuel containers will be transported to the two fuel stops but you have to arrange for your 3rd fuel container and swag to be transported to Tottenham. If there is a problem see Clerk of Course. Camping facilities are available at Condobolin & Tottenham, showers, firewood supplied, and canteen. Canteen will run with hot food, drinks will also be available. Breakfast is available from 6.00am Saturday and Sunday. A meal will be served on Friday and Saturday evenings at the Mount Tilga Motorcyle Grounds (Friday) and Tottenham Sports Ground (Saturday).
As the event is run on private properties, unregistered bikes that comply with MNSW GCCR's are eligible to race.
Each year the race starts and finishes alternately at either Tottenham or Condobolin. 2025 race starts and finishes at Condobolin.
Entries are limited to 250.
Provision is made for riders of average to skilled levels when marking out the track, but riders need to be of reasonable fitness to complete the race.
A friendly and cordial atmosphere is created by both clubs and riders are made welcome with the emphasis on safety, fun and the satisfaction of completing the journey both ways and finishing the race.
